More Information about Easton, CT
The town of Easton, Connecticut is located in Fairfield County and borders the towns of Redding, Monroe, Trumbull, Fairfield, Weston, and Newtown. The area that became Easton was originally settled by a group of men from Fairfield in 1757. The North Fairfield Society congregation was established in 1762 and eventually became the modern-day Easton. Weston was incorporated in 1786 from Fairfield and included land that is now Easton. Easton separated from Weston in 1845.
Easton was the home of blind and deaf activist Helen Keller. Her home has been preserved, and the local middle school is named after her. The town has several operational farms and other non-agricultural businesses.
