Beacon Falls is a small town located in New Haven County, Connecticut. The area was settled by people from the nearby town of Derby in 1678. The town of Beacon Falls was incorporated in 1871 and included lands from the towns of Bethany, Seymour, Naugatuck, and Oxford.
The town has been known by several names over the years, including Beacon Falls Station, Beacon Falls Village, and the Beacon Falls Postal District within Bethany. The population of Beacon Falls in the 2010 census was just over 6,000.
